By being involved in our donor program, you ensure the availability and accuracy of laboratory test kits all over the country.
Please help assist us in our effort to meet the needs of our nation's healthcare.
If you are a healthcare provider and you are interested in informing your patients about their unique opportunity to help healthcare, please feel free to contact us for further details.
We need all types of healthcare providers: physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, etc. Anyone who has direct patient contact can participate in our referral process. There are a couple of ways a provider can refer patients to our program:
A Biolynk brochure can be given to the patient upon diagnosis, whereupon the patient can read about the program and decide for themselves whether or not they want to call us (patient brochures are provided by Biolynk).
A nurse, or another member of your staff, can personally inform the patient (i.e. calling the patient at home, or informing them at their next doctor visit) of their opportunity to participate. The patient is given our telephone number by your nurse, or other staff member, and encouraged to call for further information.
It is important to remember that timing is essential in the referral process. As soon as a patient receives his/her diagnosis, and they qualify, the patient needs to be informed of their opportunity to participate, as many of these antibodies we look for are fleeting and need to be captured quickly.
If you are unsure about whether a patient qualifies, have the patient call us and we will determine whether or not he/she meets our donor qualifications.
